Cute and very athletic 5-year-old 14.3h QTR Chestnut gelding. This poor baby was pulled from a kill lot bound for slaughter and brought to California after 60 days in quarantine (no strangles). All vaccinations, teeth floated, chipped and tested clean for infections (no infections) while he waited for transport. This guy knew nothing when we rescued him. So, he started his rehabilitation, and he finished all the groundwork. Halter broke, good for the farrier, vet, goes on hot walker, ties, loads/trailers, clips and good when cross tied for a bubble bath. Rarely hard to catch yet a cookie persuader is making it much easier. He has started training under saddle (45 days) and so far, doing very good in the round pen, open arena and out on miles of trails. This horse is FAST A QUICK LEARNER and FAST AS LIGTNING so would make an excellent barrel prospect or rope horse. Very kind and responsive. Not for a beginner.
