"GQ" is a 16.2 hh, 12 year old OTTB that was previously raced and used as a pony horse on the track. He has been restarted this year after taking some time off over the holidays to just be a horse. He has been learning how to walk, trot, canter in a frame, starting over some trail obstacles, and has been over some small jumps.
He is a kind, in your pocket type that wants attention. Intermediate to advanced rider is necessary as he moves big and is willing to move out if desired. While not spooky, a confident rider is best as he does want to look at what is going on around him. He is ready to continue to develop your own way - western dressage, dressage, hunter under saddle, or a lower level hunter type, fast enough to go do western speed events with a handy older youth.
He does have some arthritis (osslet) on his left front pastern, it does not bother him at this time. I have x-rays available for interested buyers. More photos and videos available.
He sells with an option to leave him in training for another 30 days or make an offer and take him home now. PPE welcome at buyer's expense. UTD on coggins, vaccines, and dental. Stands for farrier, currently has shoes all the way around. Recent body work done. Bathes, clips, hauls stands for the farrier and vet with no issues.
