“Ven” has been amazing to restart from the track. He has a very natural long, low and lofty way of going that I could see really shinning in the Hunter ring or dressage as he shows aptitude for lateral movements. He has been carefully restarted first with let down period and lots of ground/round pen work.
He has been slowly introduced to small fences, since he is still filling out he has not been pushed or over faced. He is confident and will have no problem with scope. He even did great cross country schooling. He has offered some natural changes but this has not been schooled, since we are focused on straightness and basics.
He is a brave leader on trails! He can get strong when horses gallop behind and past him, which is funny cause he wasn’t very successful on the track. He has very low number of starts despite being out of HardSpun and sold for $105k as a yearling!!!! He is RRP eligible
He is UTD, no vices, loads and has had many field trips off property and always acted reasonably. He is still young and green and needs someone with experience to help him continue to develop.
