Flutterby Maplewood (Flair) is a 2009 Sport Horse Mare. She is a dream to have in your program. She suits baby beginner kiddos through small advanced amateur adults. She is capable of getting the numbers down each line of a competitive Hunter/Jumper course or adding for the kiddos. She has Evented up to Novice and did costume hunter paces in KY with her first kiddo. Jumping experience up to 3’ with the right rider. Dressage through 2nd level. She has a change with a balanced rider. Her current kiddo has out grown her and is ready for a big horse. She has been part of my school program and has been used for hunter paces, lessons both dressage and jumping with kids and adults, local hunter/jumper horse shows. She is the same horse whether shes ridden daily or left in the pasture for days. Clips, loads, stands for the farrier and vet. Perfect addition to any family or school program. Maintenance: Dry lot is the best - some pasture time with a muzzle only. In 2022 we discovered she is insulin resistant, which is maintained with InsulinWise supplement and proper diet and turnout (her numbers have been normal for years now, I just like to play it safe). She also has an old right eye injury that was surgically repaired in KY. No problems with the eye, we keep a UV fly mask on while she’s turned out for good measure. Aside from these items she is a very easy keeper and a low key little mare.
