Storm is a 2015 14.3 stocky paint gelding that has covered miles and miles of trails. He has been trailered to many parks and shows. In 2023, he was diagnosed with a bone spur in his knee, and now he finds it uncomfortable to lope. He is a strong, healthy and an alert horse in every other way. It is easy for Storm to walk on the trails, and he really enjoys it. Storm is looking for someone that likes to walk and will always only want to walk on trails. I am not looking for someone that will want a step up horse later that will lead to Storm being overused or sold. Storm is sound and runs in the pasture with the herd. Storm loves attention and to go to the parks which is why I am looking for a new home for him. He was only ridden a few times last year. Storm is easy to work with and stands quietly and very safely at the trailer with hay. He jumps in the trailer easily. He is not perfect but ok with the vet and ferrier. Storm was born and raised on our farm so I know his complete history and have access to all his vet records. Storm always has a place at our place so I don't have to sell him but am looking for that person that wants a walk-only experienced and safe trail horse. The price is somewhat flexible to a good match and an approved home only. Storm will only be sold to an approved home and please expect a buy back contract.
