She is a good minded filly, very athletic, will be grey when fully mature, estimate height will be 16.3/17hhs. She has a power packed pedigree , and later to go to the breeding shed to continue her lines to the next generation.
She is out of Inverness Steeped in Blue, a purebred Irish Draught mare, who is Class 1, with Bronze Merit for Type, that was Supreme Champion Irish Draught Champion in 2012 at 5 months of age, beating her own dam, who came in Reserve!
Barbabetella’s grandsire is the super talented Steeped in Luck. Steeped in Luck is a Class 1 Irish Draught, that has competed at Grand Prix Shows, such as Devon, Tryon, and Wellington, he represented both Canada and USA at CDI-W’s and CDI3*. He is a 5* Irish Sporthorse (dressage), a gold premium Canadian Sport Horse, and Class 1, Gold premium Irish Draught. Her sire line also includes such notables lines as Flagmount Diamond – King of Diamonds, Agherlow – Grey Macha, and Ginger Dick.
Her granddam, Benmar Bella Blue, a daughter of Touch of the Blues, who needs no introduction with his influence he brings to a pedigree, with proven offspring competing and in the breeding shed. Bella Blue was also a very successful show mare competing in Combined Driving as well as earning the title of Supreme Purebred Champion at the 2011 IDHSNA Annual Show. Her great-granddam, Roma Blue Hawk was considered top producing broodmare, earning Hornsby Premium Status 2x. She was Supreme Champion Irish Draught in GB, and was Reserve Supreme Champion Irish Draught at the GB National Show. Her Great-GreatGranddam, Roma Blue Wind, won Hornsby Premium 5x, Supreme Champion in two Countries and at the Royal Dublin show in 1995 and 1998.
Barbatella’s sire, Orbetello, is a 16.2 hhd Oldenburg stallion, who had international success in showjumping, he scored the highest free jumping score in history during his Oldenburg testing, earning the honor of 1cPremium designation. He is inspected and approved for Oldenburg, Belgian and Hanovarian studbooks, having received exceptional scores. He competed in FEI Grand Prix to 1.60m.
Orbetello’s sire is the BWP Ambassador stallion Orlando. Orlando is known not only in the show jumping arena but for producing excellent jumpers and breed show champions. Also prominent in Orbetello’s sire line is the famous Heartbreaker, a Keur stallion who has produced numerous offspring jumping at the upper levels. Heartbreaker is one of the leading stallions on the Dutch and Belgian jumping indexes. Further tracing the sire line is Darco, who was voted best sire in the world four years in a row, his show jumping career included the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and countless World Cups and international events. Nimmerdor is also on Orbetello’s sire line. He is known as the KWPN Sire of the Century for his show jumping prowess as well as his many offspring who made their marks in both the jumping and dressage arenas.
