Joey is my heart and soul but it is time to find him a new home and different job. USEF registered. He has been in my care for 4 years, sound, healthy and an overall goofy boy. He is a smaller horse but still has a 10/10 jump. He has been in the show ring for years, and has taken me from 2’- 3’ in hunters and has explored to the .95 jumpers. He has incredible athleticism and skill. However Joey is done in the show ring. His anxiety and Sass gets in the way of both his own performance and his riders. On the other hand, Joey had been a sweet and loving horse with great passion for the job when pressure isn’t applied. I can easily school him 3’6 at home with minimal fill, simple jumps, and the skills and techniques I have learned over the years to do so, and would be happy to go into more details. I want to find him a good home and easy going life. Best fit for a tough teen or adult ammy. Would be a great horse for someone looking to stay in the flat ring, trail ride and school at home.
