Registered 2015 Norwegian Fjord Gelding in Spokane, WA This brown dun gelding is ready for anything and could truly excel in most disciplines! While he hasn’t been started over jumps, he shows interest and scope. “Rue” has seen trails, arena work, has been hauled around a bit, and has recently had 60 days of training in the summer of ‘24 and just finished another 45 days of tuning up this past winter. He is forward and willing to try new things, easy to catch, moves off of leg pressure, backs well, knows his leads, can turn on the haunches, can be ridden bareback and in a halter, and can go English or Western. Rue has been exposed to cattle, dogs, kids, chickens, tractors, busy arenas, and has been extensively desensitized. “Rue” is 14.2 hands but packs quite a punch with his athleticism. He is also quite the personality and seeks out partnership with his rider. He is sensitive, intelligent, charismatic, and hilarious! "Rue" is up to date on routine maintenance and has had regular farrier care. An experienced home or an intermediate rider developing their skills with training would be best as he can be forward and enjoys partnership with one person.
