I raised this horse and hes a good horse. The issue is he has almost no athletic drive. Hes a bit on the lazy side. He has been to shows. And he is well started under saddle. Has never reared or bucked. But he can get sticky when asked to do new things. I have ridden him western and with a bareback pad. With a bosal and a snaffle. I was hoping to do a lot of showing with this horse but I think hes happier to just trot a couple laps at home and then take a nap. He is not tall. About 14.2 but stout. I have ridden him around mares. He was raised with one super cranky horse-hating dragon mare so he knows how to be respectful. He would be great for someone who just wants to ride around at home and breed him to your mares. He has bred one mare but I was never updated on how the foal turned out. He is going to training for a couple months this spring and maybe in the fall for 2-3 months just to see how he does. But hes always been on the lazy side. |
