Hope is a 12yr old Azteca mare looking for a new place to call home. Her young owner has had some life changes and just does not have the time for her.
Hope has most recently been used for trail riding, horse camping and pleasure riding and definitely prefers the outdoors to an arena. In her younger years she was used as a lesson mount. Hope has had the last year off and has been out to pasture and will need a solid tune up, due to that she is currently best suited for an intermediate to experienced rider and handler but has potential to be a beginner horse in the future.
Hope has been exposed to quite a bit, including but not limited to; cows, goats, dogs, traffic, machinery, water crossings, etc. She has not refused to cross or go over anything out on the trail. Hope has always been barefoot with no need for shoes.
Hope has the potential to really go any direction in her riding career, she has beautiful movement with the brains to do just about anything.
Hope does have a couple known vices that tend to disappear with consistency but that is something she does not currently have.
She has been known to pull back when tied, and she can be stubborn to load into a trailer. Both should be simple fixes.
