Cat Balou is a coming 4 year old, 14.3h Quarter Horse draft cross mare. Green-broke, selling as-is. She has been started lightly under saddle with about 30 rides. Walks and trots well, has loped well the few times I have asked. Yield hindquarters and learning to sidepass. She loves to jump and has popped over a few crossrails under saddle as well. I've hopped on her bareback in a halter multiple times. She has been trained in a halter and sidepull so far but has worn a snaffle a few times. This mare is super smart and learns quickly. Hobble trained, hard ties and is good for the vet and farrier. She has great feet and has never taken a lame step or had any health issues.

A few cons: paws frequently when standing tied alone, and usually gets nervous when working in the indoor arena without another horse. She has not bucked with me on, but I will not guarantee that she won't buck.

This mare is a super friendly, in your pocket type of gal and will be a great partner. She is easy to work with but will need an experienced person to continue her training. She could go any direction you want her to. Only selling her as I will be heading to vet school this fall and don't have the time to put into her and hate to see her sitting.
