Meet Toni! This 5 year old unraced gelding sired by Cal Nation has been brought along slowly and correctly by a professional along with a junior rider. He is happy to go slow and enjoy the scenery, but he will also move when asked which would make him suitable for the sport world as well (Jumpers, barrels etc)

Toni has a solid walk trot and floaty canter and has started schooling over 18” verticals. He has not refused a single fence and is agreeable with what we’re asking from him. He will also happily trail ride with his junior rider and has zero spook in him.. Toni packed around a 10 year old rider, a husband and given lessons to intermediate juniors. He truly has a fantastic brain and will look and analyze things instead of spooking.

He loads like a pro, crossties quietly and will bathe without issue. Clippers, drills and saws going off in the barn do not bother him. He has been exposed to a lot on our farm including farm machinery, children running and yelling with pool noodles and dogs barking, and he remained calm and steady. He will crosstie for the farrier and stand patiently, and has been barefoot and sound consistently.

Toni lives outside full time in a field of geldings and falls mid to low in the pecking order and is on a hay and grass only diet. He has been hauled out to other facilities and will settle within minutes after looking around and checking things out.

Toni would thrive with a junior rider that wants to take him through the hunter ring. He is also capable of being someone’s trail partner and exploring the woods. If someone wanted to use him in a lesson program, he could do that as well. I cannot emphasize enough how great of a brain this horse has and how smart he is.
