We are selling our Amazing 12yo AQHA - Jackson. 15.3 hands Gentle soul and super broke. He is very calm. Very picky who buys him. Only will sell to the best person. He is registered in my name and I have the paperwork. We love our Jackson. Its with heavy heart that he hasnt worked out for us. We bought Jackson last year 2024 for my GF to ride as a trail horse. She thinks he has a little more Go than Whoa for her liking. (my gf is a brand new rider who is a very tentative and cautious rider) So it hasnt worked out as planned unfortunatley. We have several other horses that we ride and I dont want this nice gelding to just sit around. Hes too good. Super broke and well mannered. Currently in pasture with other horses and gets along with them all. I have been riding him lately so he is ready to go on his next trail ride. All you have to do is pull him out of pasture and hop on him and go. He is strong and at 15.3 Hands, he is a beautiful Sorrell Qtr Horse. Jackson has been used extensively on the trails. I would consider him an elite trail horse. He came from Oklahoma and was also used on the ranch and cattle duties. He can be ridden by just about everyone. Husband friendly, kids safe, and really just go with the flow with all people abilities and activiites. We bought him for trail riding but the person we bought him from has used him in the arena too. Requires no maintenance. Perfectly sound. I did a PPE at local Vet in Liberty Lake less than a year ago and can show you the paerpwork or you can call. You can do a PPE at your own expense if you feel the need. No cribbing, Super easy to catch, good around dogs, easy to mount, no quirks, can go out alone or with others, no dietary restrictions. Does great on trail. No Spook or buck. Goes over logs, loves going thru the water, does great at the tie rail, awesome with ferrier, easy loading in trailer, backs out. I cant say enough good things about him. He prefers to be the lead horse. The only thing kinda negative about him is that he like to pick up his walking pace heading back on the trail to the barn. I think he's anxious upon returning. I am almost certain this can be a fixed issue with some proper training. That is the only isssue that might bother someone. If you go out on a loop trail ride, he's fine. Straight out and back, hes knows exactly where hes wanting to go, back to the barn and get anxious. Someone is going to land a special horse!! Horse is located at a ranch in the Medical Lake area. The only discipline we have done with him is trail riding. I am sure he is way more capable of doing other types of riding. He's been vacinated and recenlty had new shoes in March 2025. Go ahead and call or text me. I can get more photos if necessary.
