Downsizing herd: 16 yr old, approximately 15 H grade QH gelding. We have used him as a trail horse. We have had him 2 years, prior history is limited. He is up to date on shots, deworming and has routine farrier service. He does well with trailer loading (we have a step up trailer). He has done well with bathing. He Neck reins and rides barefoot. He has always been sound for us and the vet has not found any evidence of previous injury. He is lowest in our herd. He is currently out with geldings but has also been boarded by previous owner and let out with a mixed herd. He does not crib or weave. He would do well with someone who has some experience as he is forward and requires very little pressure (if any). We ride him bitless in a hackamore, as did his previous owner. He is an easy keeper, we feed hay, alfalfa pellets and feed.
