Roxanne is a 6 y/o Draft X Quarter Horse Mare.
Approximately 14.3 hands.
She has such a calm demeanor so of course she loads and unloads easy, stands tied, is easy to catch, stand great to get shoes.
She lopes smooth circles, especially for a draft. She can turn on the front & on the hind. Picks up the correct leads.
She's put hundreds of miles on in the mountains where she has packed, been in a string, lead a string, hobbled, & high lined. She crosses mud and water without hesitation along with rocky steep country.
She's been used at over 15 brandings where she has drug calves of all sizes. Both team branding and heel/drag. She can drag them to the fire all day long.
She's spent some time tracking the roping dummy as well.
I've camped out on this girl for 2 years and I will sure miss her when her lucky new family leaves with her!
