AQHA, DC NIGHT PERKS (aka Rocket) - 2019 bay gelding that stands 15.2H. He was born out and run out in the hills. Used last year all season moving and gathering cows in rugged Idaho country. He also has packed salt as well as gear for trail crews in the Frank Church Wilderness of No Return. He has a nice long smooth stride. Rocket will go anywhere you ask him at any speed you ask of him. Rocket is extremely sensible and surefooted. He has gathered cattle off steep mountain sides at high speeds and never missed a step. He crosses logs, rocks, creeks with no hesitation. He has a big motor but not stupid hot and has absolutely no bronc or buck. He is easy going and good to shoe with great manners. Rocket is bold, confident, kind and not horse sour, plus, he will watch a cow. I am now starting him on the barrel pattern. I raised Rocket as well as his dam. Rocket's dam was used to ride client's as well as guides in and out of the Frank Church Wilderness of no Return. Rocket's sire has been an all-around horse I have used for my personal saddle horse as well as putting all ages of clients on him to ride into the Frank Church Wilderness, he has packed bull elk, chased cows and ponied colts. Rocket is a great ranch horse but also has an awesome pedigree for a performance horse. This is truly a top-notch gelding!
