Big Blue, has been with us since August 2023. He is a BLM mustang we got from a rescue in Nevada. He was only halter broke when he got to us. Our HCU care team provided minimal care on him. He came to use with cuts, bumps and overgrown feet and teeth. He was gelded in December 2023. He was very skittish when unloading at our facility and was a struggle to get into the stalls. He was released into the trainers care after he got a clean bill of health in October 2023. The trainers were very excited to work with this boy, and to see what he could do. He started in his training program in November 2023. Due to how skittish he was, it took a few month before he was calm enough to work with more than just being led or basic ground manners.

Since his start in the training barn, he has become an amazing horse to work with. He is so smart, durable and very outgoing. He loves to get attention and loves to be around other horses in turn out. He has become such a great trail horse, packing prospect, ranch horse and the list goes on. He has been around cows and water. He still needs a lot of training and will require a very confidant rider or advanced rider. Very flashy boy!
