Bought as a foal from his breeder and well handled since he was 6 months old in a small, private yard.
Absolute dream horse to catch, lead, tack up, mount, ride, shoe, load, travel and clip. Brilliant with children, cats and dogs!
Broken and sat on as a 3 year old and then turned away. Hunted lightly as a 4/5 yr old and hunted a number of days as a 5/6 yr old with the Limerick Foxhounds in Ireland. Snaffle mouth and never gets strong. Queues out hunting and goes when asked. Light on his feet, rides nicely on the flat and great to jump banks, drains, walls and poles. Very good xrays available to view from November 2023.
Topsy has been a pleasure to produce and is a lovely all rounder in the making. He has a fabulous temperament and is always pleasant and welcoming, more so if you bring treats! Has been ridden by a 70 year old man. Excellent stable manners. No vices. Hacks alone and in company, will go first or last. Given his age he is not suitable for a total beginner rider.
