For Sale: 13-Year-Old Paso Fino Mare “Sugar”

Sugar is a Paso Fino mare who is broke to ride and gaited. While I’ve seen her gait, I don’t have enough experience with gaited horses to fully evaluate her skills. I purchased her in June 2023 for my daughter, but she has since lost interest in riding, so Sugar needs a new home with someone who will put her to work and give her purpose.
Sugar is:
• Smart and willing to please. Don’t let her size fool you—she’s a powerhouse and has the stamina to keep going as long as you ask.
• Good to handle: She loads easily, stands well for the farrier, and allows baths.
• Safe: She doesn’t buck or rear but is a very forward mover. Because of her energy, she’s best suited for a confident rider.
She needs a home where she’ll have consistent work and routine to help her thrive. Sugar is an easy keeper and currently on first-cutting grass hay, with no grain or supplements. Her teeth, shots, and trims (done every 6-8 weeks) are all up to date.
