Meet Patch.
He is an all-around, user-friendly, happy-go-lucky kind of guy! This boy is nothing short of spectacular. Hes a beautiful tri colored paint gypsy vanner cross with a snow white mane and tail! He stands a solid 15.2 at 12 years old. He has great bone structure and solid hooves. This gelding is put together beautifully. Patch is one of the most docile guys you will meet. He will stand tied anywhere you want to tie him for grooming, pampering, and just to be loved on. He loves a good bath and will stand and let you blow dry and braid his beautiful white mane tail and feathers. Patch has been used for tons of trail rides as he loves adventures. Patch has been hauled all over the Midwest and is no stranger to woods, water, wildlife, traffic, cyclists and any other obstacle you may come across on a trail. He’s been ridden out in the field and down the road. He’s more of a slow and steady kind of guy who will take his time soaking in the scenery. He loves teaching kids and beginners as he’s just got a very calm and kind demeanor. He has been used in kids camp doing arena work. He will walk, trot, canter, and take both leads. He also has great flying changes. He comes equipped with stellar gaits, as he’s one of the most comfortable horses you will ever sit on. He will stop on a dime and stand patiently. He has been ridden by up to 3 kids at once and has no problem. He also jumps around and dose so in great form! He’s the ultimate family horse as he’s big enough to carry a full-size adult or several children all at once but yet he’s kind enough to take care of some of the tiniest riders. He’s a confidence building type of guy. Patch lives outside with other horses and he plays very well with them. When you walk outside he’s always one of the first to greet you at the pasture gate. He’s a very easy keeper. Patch has been in several parades, he has even carried a flag. Commotion and loud noises don’t phase him a bit. He has completed our desensitization training with flying colors! He is also broke to drive and will do so single or double. He’s been down the road, and in the field! Patch has endless possibilities. He could be a best friend for any family. He could fox hunt, play in pony club, cart classes, show in any laid back discipline such as equitation, showmanship, trail, obstacle, or even a hunter under-saddle.
