Meet Tucson, an 11-year-old grade Quarter Horse gelding who's truly one of a kind. If you're looking for a steady-Eddie, trustworthy companion for leisurely trail rides or kids, Tucson is the horse for you. He's the definition of bombproof - calm, gentle, not easy to annoy. Why Tucson Stands Out: • Temperament: Tucson has a heart of gold. He's kind, patient, and willing to do anything for a cookie. Perfect for beginner riders, or anyone who just wants a safe, relaxing ride. Tucson has been a walk-and-trot-only horse for the past 2 years and a lesson horse before that, which adds to his steady, easygoing nature. He's comfortable and responsive without being pushy or forward. • Trail Ready: Tucson has proven himself out on the trail and has not been known to spook, bolt, or misbehave (besides the occasional snack break). He handles new environments, wildlife, and obstacles with ease, making him an ideal partner for peaceful rides. More About Tucson: Tucson has not been pushed to lope since he was purchased by his about a year and a half ago. We were absolute beginner riders who have now bought step-up horses and need to cut back. Tucson does have early signs of arthritis around left front coffin bone, but he's currently barefoot sound with light riding and proper trimming. He was a kids western lesson horse previously as well.
