Playgun Boon Rey is a 2021 AQHA Dun Roan Gelding, 14.3 hands tall. We call him Mojave, who is a very kind and well broke gelding. Whether you’re looking to hit the trails for a leisurely ride or participate in local horse shows this horse is sure to impress with its smooth gaits and willingness to please. He has a reining style handle, soft in the bridle, moves off your seat and legs but is quiet and forgiving for the beginner rider also. Mojave has been given time off and saddled up on below zero days with wind and blowing snow to do ranch chores. He rides off quiet and gentle just as he does on the nice warm days. Mojave has seen many miles on the ranch and in the mountains in very rough and rocky terrain. He knows how to follow a trail or he’s happy to go through the brush without hesitation. Mojave is happy to ride in any position of a group or he enjoys going out by himself. He is confident out on the trail and is happy to just be where you are. Not buddy sour or barn sour. He is also well started in mounted shooting, nice slow steady lope for the beginner and enough handle to speed him up for the advanced shooter. He is one that is suitable for the whole family to enjoy. He is easy to catch, he meets you at the gate and enjoys being around people. He likes being groomed and loved on but has lots of manors and is polite. He wants to be everyone’s friend. Mojave gets along well in a mixed herd or he is happy by himself in a box stall. He has no vices or bad habits. He loads in, backs out of the trailer and hauls well. Mojave is good for the vet and stands well for the farrier. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations, dental and farrier. He comes with his vet and dental records. We had a basic PPE done and we welcome you to do your own PPE. We also welcome you to come to the ranch and meet Mojave. He has a current coggins and all paperwork will be order for him to travel to his new home.
