Sushi thinks he is the funniest guy around and is looking for someone that thinks so too. Bred for dressage or jumping with the temperament for a competitive AA this guy is the whole package. Sushi has been developed slowly and correctly with a solid background in dressage but loves to jump and the few times he’s done it, he’s proven to be a natural. He is a quaity prospect ready to go in any direction. While easy-going, soft in the contact and very willing… he is also powerful so his ideal person will embrace that. He is solid on the trail and in new environments and has been to a couple little schooling shows and brings his A-game every time.
Bred by Debrah Harrison a Premium Level Breeder, Sushi was born to be a versatile athlete with the temperament for a talented AA rider.
Dam: Ohia Lehua is by the famous jumper stallion Voltaire (Furioso II x Gotthard). Her dam was Astra, by Afrikaner XX x Dirigent, a carefully selected imported mare. This line has produced seven upper level dressage horses and several hunter/jumpers. Ohia Luhua’s sire Voltaire competed successfully at the international level in show jumping and is an influential sire of show jumpers and dressage horses.
Sire: Contester II has a lot of famous names in his pedigree like Contender, Landgraf, Calypso and Ramiro Z. He is proving to produce people-oriented, easygoing and willing temperaments… Noholoa is a good example of this. Contester II showed very successfully up to I1 with numerous National Championships. Contester is athletic and has a great mind that he has passed on to his offspring without exceptions. And they are talented in all disciplines! He also passes on very correct conformation with beautiful necks and heads with nice bone and good movement.
