14.2, coming 7 yr old, registered Arabian gelding. This is a gritty, athletic, brave, curious, and capable young gelding. He has a forward moving walk and an amazing(!) rocking horse canter. He has been on a bit of a break from riding (because of me, not him), and will need someone to invest some time in him initially to bring out his full potential and get his mind out of the pasture (he is priced with this consideration). That being said, I pulled him out and rode 4 miles at the walk for the first time in quite a while, and he was a very good boy (have several videos from that ride)! He is best matched with an experienced rider that wants an athletic, gritty athlete. This horse, with the right rider will have a blast together! He will also be your very best friend. *He loves to drink from mud puddles and is very food oriented, so I think he would take awesome care of himself as an endurance prospect. I also think he would be very entertained by ride camp/adventure. *Has amazing, tough hooves that are barefoot *Always runs to you when you call his name *which is very endearing*, and LOVES to be the one you choose to catch and take with you out of the pasture. *He is pretty darn desensitized/kid-proof: bikes, soccer balls, rc airplanes, rc airplanes crashing next to him, hover boards, other random erratic kid ideas— he’s good *He is a recreational cribber. As in, he cribs when he transitions from one pasture to another, etc. He does not stand at the fence all day day cribbing or desperately search out places to crib. He doesn’t damage fence boards really, or chew them. He would not do well in a stall though. He really needs 24/7 pasture and friends. If you have an electric fence, you would never know he ever cribbed and would live happily ever after ?. Tons of video and pics available. Finding the right home is super important.
