Due to no fault of her own, Selena hates to canter and do arena work. She is happy out on the trail. I bought her to be a child's hunter/jumper but due to bad training for barrels she is arena sour. This is, by far, the smartest horse I have ever owned. I feel completely safe on her and will take her out in the fields when I haven't ridden her for two months. She never needs shoes and is the only horse I have ever owned that can eat dog food and not get sick. Selena has great breeding and would have beautiful babies if breeding is your thing. Selena will be a perfect horse for an older woman that just wants to walk/trot trail ride and not blow it out racing in the fields. Selena has never spooked with me and I ride her out alone all the time. I ride her in an English saddle with a Winderin soft rubber D ring bit. She is voice trained so you don't use heavy leg cues. If I rode trails or traveled to parks with friends I would keep her but that is not my thing.
