Mira (14.2hh) is ready for her forever person! She would do best with a confident intermediate rider who has an independent seat and soft hands. She excels at trails. She is a sensitive horse and will thrive with someone who will invest in a relationship with her. Once she is warmed up to someone, she will give you her heart and aims to please with good communication and leadership. Mira had extensive groundwork training before she was started under saddle as a seven year old. She initially had 90 days to build a solid foundation and came back into training at the end of last summer (August 2024) to continue her training. She has blossomed into a sensible trail mount. - Rides in any position, lead or rear - No barn/herd sourness - Stands for mounting, stands tied quietly, stands well for trimmer - Handles gates - Exposed to dogs, wildlife, people running and walking on trails, etc. - Loads and hauls, and manages easily in new places - Enjoys liberty work - Exposed to mountain trail obstacle course and did fantastic She is currently at an excellent boarding facility in Olympia with a trail system that runs throughout the area, an active community of riders, and an indoor arena where she thrives with all of the socialization she gets from both people and other horses. She is a barn favorite and we’d love her to stay there if possible. Potential in-barn care lease-to-own option.
