“Heavenly Surprise” is a 2019 AQHA gelding standing 14.2 hands. “Ducky” was bred and raised on a local ranch here in the mountains and has spent his whole life on the ranch gathering, moving, and checking cattle. We roped and doctored a few large calves on him last fall and he handled it like a seasoned professional! He has the heart to travel all day long and will out-walk most horses. We will continue to use him to doctor and check pairs this spring, all the way up until sale day! Ducky rides around soft and quiet. He neck reins, moves off leg pressure, works a gate, and picks up both leads. He will cross all kinds of terrain and obstacles and is not bothered by dogs, 4-wheelers, or large equipment. Ducky can get a little tight when he is pushed too hard and fast out of his comfort zone, but he is easily talked out of it! Ducky is easy to shoe and saddle, has good ground manners, and loads, hauls, and stands tied like a champ. He is a very friendly gelding and is easy to catch. He is on the low end of the pecking order in the herd. Ducky is up to date on his annual vaccinations, deworming, and teeth floating. This is a nice, young gelding with tons of potential to be a great performance, arena, trail, or ranch horse!
