Caddy is about the sweetest and most willing young horse I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Her owner has been committed to getting her off to a great start in life, so she’s been with me nearly a year. She’s had extensive groundwork experience, and is proficient in all things related. Crosses tarps, bridges, water, cavaletti, raised logs, understands and executes lateral moves with ease, and loves to do all the things! Her training has been very meticulous, with her mental and physical health being our utmost priority. She’s not been rushed through anything. She knows how to think through new situations and respond in a calm and willing manner. She listens, very well, to the voice of her handler. She pulls the bike (jog cart) with ease and has an excellent halt. We have just begun her saddle training and she’s ready to take the next step there. We are taking it slow as she’s only coming three, in May. This mare is set up for any discipline, but will excel in Western Dressage, trail riding (even competition) and driving, with proper continuation of her training. She self loads in the trailer, loves baths, clips, and stands tied with no issue. She has excellent feet and sees the barefoot trimmer on a regular schedule. Horses of this quality, usually, go for much more. Owner will accept reasonable offers, but is not in a hurry. Looking for a great partner for this very special girl! Honestlyhorses.com
