Meet Sarge: a 13-year-old Walkaloosa (Appaloosa x Tennessee Walker). He is the perfect size, 15.1 hands, and he is the kind of horse that everyone needs around their barn. The reliable, safe, go-to trail horse!

He is kid and beginner safe, and was recently ridden by a 10-year-old and did amazingly well. He is great on the trails, and will go as fast or slow as you ask him. He rides out alone or with other horses. He’s been out to the lake and on many trail rides, rides bareback or saddled, and can be ridden in both a halter or a bit. He neck reins, stops well, and is very responsive.

Sarge leads, ties, loads, lunges, and stands for the farrier. His feet are in good condition and he’s currently barefoot. He recently completed 30 days of professional training, so he is all tuned up and ready for his new home. He can sometimes be harder to catch in large pasture areas, but is currently working on this with the trainer. He has been pastured with both mares and geldings.

Sometimes he will gait, and other times he will trot. His trot is smooth, and he is very enjoyable to ride. No buck, rear, kick, or bite. He is well-mannered and respectful of fencing, and is fine with dogs, cats, vehicles, kids, cattle, etc.

Sarge is sound, healthy, up to date on vaccines and worming, and has a negative Coggings. PPE’s are welcome at the buyer’s expense.
