Hondo is a horse who likes to work and needs to have a job.
He excels in a structured training program.
Currently being shown in the ranch events, including Ranch Trail and pattern classes.
He has a solid foundation in all of the necessary maneuvers, excels at trot and lope overs, wil drag logs, and will rope a dummy.
He is started in the flying lead change, has a solid simple lead change.
He shows potential as a versatility/all around horse. He has a BEAUTIFUL trot that could stand out in the hunter ring.
He has been cantered over small jumps, he is willing and has the ability.
Currently in our training program for 90 days prior to show season. Hondo was also with us last spring to get started in the ranch events.
He has been exposed to cattle and has done some very basic cow work. He is interested in and brave with the cattle.
He has also been trail ridden.
He is stout, has solid confirmation and clean legs.
Has never had any health issues.
Best suited for a rider with experience or an intermediate level rider under the guidance of a trainer. Hondo thrives in a structured lifestyle with consistent riding
