Due to her current owners life changes they have decided that it is in Sugars best interest to find a new home. This decision is not made likely and nothing matters more to them than finding Sugar the perfect new home. Sugar is the ultimate package gorgeous, talented, tall, and kind. She loves her job and gives it her best effort every day. Plus she is just as sweet as her name would imply and a just real joy to be around each and every day. Sugar has a long and impressive background as a Country Pleasure horse, but due to the strain it seemed to have on her body it was decided to see how she liked life as a Hunter Pleasure horse and boy has she taken to it! She has only been through one season so far as a hunter and her record speaks for itself with nearly managing an undefeated record at her first two shows! She is great in a show ring, doesn’t require anything fancy to prepare for a class, and shows up for each class like it is her first. Did I mention she loves her job? Seriously, she is easily one of the funnest horses I have ever had the pleasure of showing! Sugar has no issues with soundness and requires minimal support to ensure she stays that way, mostly homeopathic things like chiropractic and MagnaWave treatments. Easy peasy. She was recently diagnosed with Equine Metabolic Syndrome and is currently on Thyro-L to support her with it, however her blood work is leveling out steadily and it is anticipated that she won’t need more than a correct diet to control it in due time. We encourage prospective buyers to have their own PPE done and are happy to share her medical history with the new owner. I cannot say enough nice things about sugar and would absolutely love to keep her in the barn. With that being said there are special incentives for new owners to keep her with Excel Performance Horses, in West Jordan, Ut.
