Odin is a 4 year old grey Missouri fox trotter. Bought him as a trail horse but he’s too young for what we wanted to do. No fault of his own, he is a great minded horse and trusts his people. He’s curious, outgoing, and brave but just has that baby mind. He’s been in training out on trails and in an arena. His ground manners have been getting better since we got him May 2024 and has been in training since the fall. He’s broke to ride western, english or bareback. He crosses water, steps over branches, walks through wind, mud, gravel and snow. Dogs don’t bother him, he’s got a golden retriever mix as a best friend. ATV’s don’t bother him nor do cars. Loves to be brushed and bonded with. Gets along with all horses. He can lead or be in the very back of a trail line. All he needs is more miles. We’d love to keep him but for what we wanted to do he’s just too young. He needs someone with young horse experience and would make a great project horse, we just don’t have the time. He loves to learn and be around people. He can live with or without other horses and nothing really phases him. He’s been great on trails for us until his baby mind kicks in and he wants to turn back or not go a certain way. He wants to please his rider but he’s just a curious baby. Trailers great, will stand for the farrier just might move around a bit, stands tied but he might wiggle around. Have not tested him with a bath or clipping but i’m sure he wouldn’t mind it. Photos and videos available. Asking $6,000 located in Anchorage, Alaska
