Talk about a cool ride! This horse will have heads turning when you walk by. Cassanova is a 6 year old 16.1hh buckskin Fresian/Quarter Horse gelding with a ton of mane and tail and a beautiful way of moving. He originally came off of a big ranch in Mexico, where he was used to check fences and ride the pastures. Cassanova has had a ton of riding and formal training and I know I don’t do him justice, and with the proper finishing he has the potential to make an excellent dressage horse. But he is a blast to ride out on trails and perfectly happy doing that as well. Cassanova is full of personality and loves to hang around and get attention, preferring to be with humans rather than his horse friends. He is gentle and very honest, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, but is too athletic for a beginner at this time. Cassanova is very smooth and uncomplicated, with the most amazing trot and lope. He is good on both leads, will sidepass, two track, and has a great work ethic. There’s not much that unsettles him. He has been exposed to countless trails and confidently crosses water, logs and brush. He has also been ridden down the road, handling traffic, big trucks and motorcycles without a problem. Cassanova is sound with no health issues. He has no problems riding out by himself or in a group, and doesn’t mind separating from the group and going off on his own. He rides English and western.
