Pink is a beautiful, jet black standardbred mare. She is 14.2 hands and the perfect size for an older kid with experience or a petite adult. She is 8 years old and has been my 11 year old daughter’s horse for over a year. She is still green, but she can w/t/c under saddle (although my daughter has not cantered her much yet). My daughter has been taking lessons on her since summer and has ridden her all over the fields and trails of our property. She is an absolutely beautiful mover with a lovely, naturally collected trot. In spite of how much my daughter loves her, she does not have time to ride or work with her enough, and Pink has too much potential to be an occasional trail horse. I hate to see her sit in the field when she could be doing so much more.

Pink is super friendly and easy to catch. She is great for the vet and farrier, barefoot and an easy keeper. She stalls well and can also live outside. She does want to be the boss of the other mares in our field, but she is respectful. She can be a spicy, opinionated mare at times, but she is very sweet and devoted to her person. She will be the perfect fit for someone who loves a bit of spunk and has time to devote to her and experience to bring her along.
