I have a wood racing sulky used as exercise workouts at Santa Rosa, CA track when they used to have trotting races. This is era 1940s or earlier. I do not have original wheels, they were replaced with bicycle wheels for my sisters and myself to use with various horses and ponies. The leather is a bit cracked, the wicker seat broke through and has padding and a piece of plywood underneath, one shaft has been expertly replaced when one of my sisters horses broke it, back in the 70s. Basic build is wood and metal. Currently blue. This is a decorator item, or someone could restore it and make it safe again. Im the last one to use it with a welsh pony in the late 70s and 80s. Id love to find someone to appreciate it. I did offer it to the historical society in Santa Rosa, but they turned it down. I can send photos. I have no real concept of worth as its more in the historical value. Im open to offers. It can fit in the back of a suburban. Very light weight.
