CCC Shiney Pistolero or Pistol as we call him is a well built, 15.1h, 8yr old registered quarter horse gelding! We have ridden pistol on countless trail rides through western North Carolina and around the farm! He is big boned and can carry any sized rider! He will cross creeks, logs, ditches etc with no hesitation! He will ease his way through boggy mud or over slick rocky surfaces like a pro. He is very confident and will go anywhere you point him! He has been used on the ranch, has pasture roped, sorted pairs and herded cattle. Pistol has also spent many hours in the arena, he takes his leads, lopes nice tight circles, has a beautiful extended trot and he is a nice mover that is very smooth to ride, with a big stop. We feel pistol would excel great in western dressage, obstacle challenges, ranch versatility or anything else you may think to do horseback! We believe he is suitable for most any level of rider from a beginner to a advanced rider! Also has a very good personality and good demeanor!
