As you have noticed, Bandit keeps going on and then off the market. This reason is solely due to us not being able to let him go! (Well me) Bandit is an absolute gorgeous "one of a kind pony." He is the "unicorn" we always look for. If he were bigger with no question we would keep him. I’m a 160lb woman and he packs me around just fine. Sadly, the direction my kids have chosen to go doesn’t allow for Bandit to succeed in what he’s good at. Bandit is a thick made, very well put together, solid pony. He's a "been there, done that" type horse. There isn't much my kids and myself haven't done with him. He's competed in local schooling shows, hunter jumper shows, halter, all the walk, trot, canter classes, he's gathered cows on the mountain, swam in rivers, we've swung ropes off him. He has done Equine Therapy for a small local company. He’s started on the pole pattern and would make a killer pole horse! Without a doubt he would pull top times, he’s catty and SUPER FAST! He is mellow mellow! We have done our diligence in sacking him out and introducing him to everything you can think of. No spook, no buck. He is the most sure footed horse in the mountains I have ever been on. My 13yr old and 9 yr old have ridden him the most and he does have first place wins under his belt! He's had 60 days professional reining training a year ago and is currently in training now with a performance horse specialist and will continue until sold. He’s learning how to rope out of the box and the pole pattern. He is a barn favorite , everyone loves him! He neck reins, will jump over absolutely anything with very good scope, good stop, responsive to leg cues and seat. He is like a puppy dog, first to meet you at the gate and will follow you around the field. Clips, loads, baths, will stand for hours. He has done many over night camp trips. Dogs don't phase him, tractors, fire, umbrellas you name it and he doesn't care. He is usually at the low end of the totem poll in the herd, gets along with every horse he's ever been around. Easy keeper. He doesn't act like a "pony" extremely good ground manners. He doesn't ride like a pony either. He is smooth! Feels like a big horse. I want to say he is a bomb proof horse but I don't believe any horse is... but he is dang near close to that. Anytime we have a new rider we put him on Bandit and he takes care of them. He will be as lazy as you allow him to be at a walk but he has alot of go when asked. He is fast... and I mean FAST! We were going to have my girls compete on poles and barrels, even breakaway but sadly, again they have out grown him. I have so many good things to say about this pony. Its hard to see him go especially since I don't feel we'll ever get another one like him! He will make another Childs dreams come true like he has for my kids. I have many videos, pictures of him on YouTube https://youtube.c
