This beautiful black gelding is 15 hands and 9 years old. He is black as night and is put together the way one should be. Coal is EXTREMELY gentle and anyone can ride him. Nothing phases him and he is as safe as a young horse can get. In the arena, he is very laid back and easy to maneuver. He picks up each lead effortlessly and has great fluid movement. Coal has been ridden by youngsters to senior citizens with absolutely zero issues and adjusts to his rider well. He has been used his entire life on a ranch and is a dependable partner for any task. He’s traveled many miles outside on the country side gathering, used to doctor and brand. He’s done just about anything you can think of working cattle. Coal has been started on the head side and is doing great. He’s good in the box leaves flat footed and has plenty of speed and cow sense. He is a great ride outside and walks along at a nice easy pace. He will go any where you point his nose and doesn’t mind riding alone or in group. He has been around all kinds of wildlife and doesn’t mind any of it he will cross water and bridges without any hesitation. Coal has been to town to see the sights and has done amazing nothing phases him. He has been around balls, tarps, flags and tons of machinery. He has been ridden in traffic and doesn’t have a care in the world. Coal is one the whole family can truly enjoy. He clips, ties, and bathes without issue. He will stand tied and even ground ties he will load in any trailer and hauls like a dream. Coal is just one of those horses that is always eager to please and an absolute angel to be around. He is friendly, quiet and safe the things everybody is looking for. He is very content being a leisurely trail horse as well as a nice ranch horse the possibilities for this horse are endless.
