WILLOW is a 5 year old Dapple Gray Grade quarter horse mare that has GOT IT GOING ON! With all the eye appeal one could ever need, and an even better head on her shoulders this gal is the definition of “Dream Horse”. Willow is the kind of mare you’d believe was a gelding, she’s very calm and level headed, walk right out in the field and catch her wherever she stands if she doesn’t spot you and come running first, she will stick her head right in the halter and truly reminds you of a big gentle dog ! Willow is the kind of horse that wants to be a pet, she is GENTLE ! She’s so kind and friendly, and absolutely loves attention. Willow is broke for any level rider, she will one hand neck rein, work off your leg, slide stop on whoa, rides bridless, side passes, lopes correct circles and has automatic lead changes, catches the correct leads everytime, and will turn around like a broke one should ! Willow has spent time in west Texas working in the stockyards and earning her keep, along with being a full time ranch horse the past few years. she has seen thousands of cows and been put in many “sticky” situations and remains level headed and calm no matter the circumstances. Willow stays broke with time off, she saddles up the same everytime. Willow has been used in beginner lessons and toting the inexperienced riders down the trails, she keeps everyone safe and gives her riders a lot of confidence. Willow will go over, through and under anything out on the trails, she rides out alone or in a group. Willow is very safe, and the kind of mare you can turn loose with a piece of rope around her neck in a 300 acre field and she will lope circles the same as if she was in an arena. Willow has no vices, she’s easy to saddle, shoe, bathe, load ect. One thing I love about Willow is she’s reliable, I don’t use that term often but she’s a gal of many jobs and whether she’s seasoned in that discipline or not she acts like a pro and does whatever Is asked of her. Willow is very smart, and has a work ethic like no other, let dad take her and use her all day, then bring her home and turn the littlest of children loose on her, she’s guaranteed to get both of the jobs done with no hesitation! Aside from being the prettiest horse in the barn, willow is kind, gentle and loving. She’s the kind of horse you want to spend time with and go out and ride, she’s very personable and affectionate.
