Little Sadie 380 is a super sweet little mare who has been an outstanding broodmare for us. She is by Little Hemi 380 who is an NRHA money earner and out of a daughter of Smart Little Calboy. One of Little Sadie’s brothers won the 2009 Oregon Paint Breeders Reining futurity, was fifth at the world show in Junior Reining in 2010, and a few years ago was Reserve World Champion in Senior working Cowhorse. Another full brother is an NRHA money earner and is currently being shown by a ten year old girl in Reining at local shows. Her grandfather on her sires side won the Big Country Cutting futurity and is a leading sire of reined cow horses. Her pedigree is full of champions in cutting and cowhorse events. For example, Cat O Lena 380, Smart Little Calboy, Doc O Lena, and Peppy San Badger.
She has been a fantastic broodmare for us, but I am at a place in life where I am needing to put my limited energy into two youngsters I’m hoping to show. She is broke to ride, has been exposed to working cattle, and is generally good to handle, but hasn’t been worked in years and would require a more experienced rider because she is pretty sensitive.
