Update 10/4: Scheduled for yearly dental/exam on October 11th. Gorgeous high-quality mare looking for a great home and partner. 'Portia Cayenne Afire' had many years of professional training and is way too nice of a Mare to not be appreciated, used more. Trained thru second level dressage, and was shown Hunter Pleasure, Halter Classes+ by her previous owner and trainer. Noteworthy pedigree. Own Daughter of Champion Stallion 'Justafire DGL' producer of accomplished show winners, and a Granddaughter of Numaa++ (Dam's side). DNA typed, and Sweepstakes Nominated. Evaluated on conformation and movement as a prospective PSG, National level horse by international Judges. Was valued at $25,000. Portia is aging well and seems like a younger horse. Doesn't require any special care, extra maintenance, medications, injections, etc. Easy keeper (we feed seconding cutting EW Timothy hay, and Safe Choice). Respectful in stall when feeding and cleaning. I'd like to see Portia with a rider that can ride regularly, rain or shine, rather than fair-weather use. Video on ad was put together spur of the moment and riding is unedited. First and third riders are girls that rode Portia a few times. Second rider in the video had never ridden her before and it had been about 8 months since she had been used. Portia will thrive with a partner that has time to spend with her. She is light in the bridle, and sensitive to your seat/aids (doesn't like having face yanked on). Multiple visits to get familiar with Portia will be welcome, along with your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation, etc. When Portia leaves, we want new owner/s to be tickled pink with her. An assortment of blankets, leather halter with name engraved, neck cover, leg wraps, misc., go with her. My first choice of partners for Portia is a with confident intermediate rider looking for a relationship with their horse, someone that will treat her like a Queen (she enjoys attention but isn't spoiled). Please call (three-six zero)366-3631 (land line, no text), for more information. Thank you.
