First, Linda is a gelding. Second, we are going to (as always) be brutally honest with you about this horse. Linda is a cool character… BUT he has not been an easy nut to crack, as we had to spend quite a bit of time in the beginning dealing with his reactivity issues when he came to us a year ago. An intern has dedicated herself to him and he is now pretty darn solid with the foundational things. He can now cope when something scary happens, he is easy to catch, he stands to be saddled, he lunges very well, he is soft in the hackamore, he is getting better about having his feet handled, and is confident being worked alone. He respects all fences and doesn’t kick/chew a stall. He is easy on other horses in the pasture. Easy keeper. Sound, straight legged, and very healthy. He’s up to date on vet work including a dental and vaccinations. He has been ridden a few times uneventfully and is starting to work out on the lunge with a rider in a small arena. He has not been ridden off of a line. We are looking for a trainer/advanced handler for Linda so he can continue this great upward trajectory that he is currently on. This horse is SMART. He is kind. He is SOUND and is a beautiful mover with tons of natural suspension and balance. He will not, under any circumstances, be sent with a beginner. If you have any questions about Linda, feel free to ask. We know this horse inside and out and want what’s best for him and his new owner. We have a bunch more pictures and video of him working, so just ask! Don’t worry, if we feel that you aren’t a good fit when we chat, we’ll say so. Thanks for reading!
