If you want to raise a little horseman (or Horsewoman!), "April" is a great way to start! She offers a light feel and happily goes forward with a great expression. She tries hard to please and is the perfect size for the kids to feel comfortable and big enough for a small adult to hop on and help make sure that things continue to improve in the right direction. April in a high-quality pony and we can’t wait to see what she is able to accomplish with her next family. She has been ridden english and has been over small fences with youth riders in an a hunter/jumper program. She has a great stop and is simple to ride. She has nice, clean gaits and is such a cute mover! April has also been with a young man that has put a lot of time into her. She tracked cattle and had lots of outside miles! She trail rides great out alone or in a group. She loads, hauls, does well stalled or in the pasture, around the barn, tied to the trailer, great for the vet and the farrier, is good to bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle.
