“Weston” is a 2018 draft cross gelding standing 15.2-15.3 hands. We have raised him since he was 4 months old and he is thick made with correct conformation and plenty of mane and tail. Weston has one of the soundest minds we have seen in a young horse and still has his entire life ahead of him! He is one we pick for the greenest riders when they come to visit, but is fancy enough to get any job done with the utmost of class. He rides English, Western, bridleless, forwards, backwards, sideways single, double, triple, slow, fast, or in between! Weston reads his rider well and has been a great trail companion for our now 10 year old son. He carried him up in the mountains, in Fort Collins, and across the prairie, and did it saddled or bareback, riding single, double, or triple! He has worked cattle on the ranch and feedlot, roped, sorted, gathered, worked gates, and started colts – Weston has done it all! He has also spent time in the arena, loping circles, ranch sorting, and working equitation. He is not phased by tarps, balls, whips, guns, and he will drag anything you need. He will also come to pick you up off whatever you might use for a mounting block. Weston is excellent for the farrier & vet, hauls well in the trailer & backs out. He is up to date on vaccinations and deworming and is healthy with no history of lameness or colic.
