He's not tall or dark, but he sure is handsome! Shadow is a super sweet 12hh, 6 year old, dappled grey gelding. He catches the eyes and hearts of everyone he meets. Shadow is super easy to catch, ties, stands to be groomed and tacked up, will pick you up at the mounting block or stand to be mounted from the ground, walk/trot/canter, started over fences, ground drives at walk, trot, and canter, drags objects, crosses obstacles (tarps, bridges, bubble wrap, ect.) and even knows some liberty/tricks for fun! He rides in a snaffle, side-pull, or just plain ol' bareback and halter.

This young man has his whole life ahead of him and has endless potential. He will make an incredible hunter/jumper pony, dressage, cross country, trail buddy, or he could excel in western disciplines as well. He will move out when asked, but is not a speed demon and has excellent brakes. He has beautiful gaits and sometimes reminds me of a pint-sized Andalusian with his long mane and floating canter :)

Shadow has been trained correctly with no cut corners and has a great foundation. I want him to go to a home with horse experience (intermediate rider or above, or less experienced rider but working with an instructor) to ensure he continues to develop properly. He really is an incredible little dude and I will miss him dearly.

Shadow needs the type of owner who will take the time to develop a connection with him and he thrives with a gentle, confident handler. He can sometimes take a little time to warm up to a new rider, but once he trusts you he will be your best friend for life and follow you to the ends of the earth.

I've poured my heart and soul into this little guy and I love him to death. If Shadow were 15+ hands he would be my personal horse and would stay with me forever. He has color, movement, and temperament. He is so willing to please and will try his heart out for you. Finding the perfect home for him the most important thing.
