Our favorite farm man, Little Sebastian has been outgrown, and looking for new pastures. Sebastian is a sweet but sassy pony that has been used for pony rides and farm visits. Sebastian has good feet and stands well for the farrier once he gets to know them. He can be testy! This is not a beginner pony. When being worked, he is amazing and well-behaved, but when he sits he gets sassy. Sebastian gets fat on air, and has to be careful with too much grass and can founder. He does best on a light let out daily (usually 5-6 hours out grazing) and stall the rest of the time. When he foundered with us, he did not suffer permanent damage, but his back legs do get tight (and have noticed that they can get stiffer with bad eating habits). They some times lock up in the back when not moving much or after eating too much. Sebastian would be best as a companion, lead pony, or someone that has time to work with him often. Can be led around easily, first at the fence to say hello, loves beer and snuggles, and corrects easily. Since my son has outgrown him, he has been sitting the past year, but gets his daily maintenance and love. Coggins are up-to-date. My main goal is finding him the right home, and not in a rush to do so. Please message or text for any further information.
