I’ve had Penny since she was a yearling, and I’ve done all her training. I’ve shown her in my 4 years of OHSET, and 6 years in 4-h. I am graduating this year, and getting into cowhorse, otherwise she wouldn’t be available! We qualified for state this year in Showmanship, IHOR, Working Pairs, Team Versatility, and Drill team. Penny carries a flag, goes through water, ponies, works cattle, hobbles, rides on trails, been in parades, neck reins, been roped off of, drags stuff, and gets along with other horses very well. She has always been sound and barefoot. She does a beautiful little jog and lope, and knows all her stuff, haunch turns, forehand turns, side pass, two track, collection, etc. Penny is very good in showmanship and trail, and we won in-hand trail at our last OHSET meet (which was also her first time doing it!). She is not herd bound. She’s been hauled up to elk camp several times and ridden in the woods. Penny does NOT do gaming. She is fast and athletic so I gamed on her for a couple years, and she hates it. She got extremely gate sour, which we have worked through, but I will not be selling her as a gaming horse. She is not a beginner horse, but an intermediate level rider would do very well with her! Videos available on request!
