Porter is bred for the hunters top and bottom. His dam is by the hunter stallion Harmony Bay and out of a very successful amateur owner mare. His sire is Westporte. He is quiet, sensible and sound. Porter was lightly started last Fall W/T/C and has continued his training all summer. He has the start of an easy lead change and has gone on numerous trail rides and has hauled out to new arenas and shows. He is little to no prep at new venues. He ties, hobbles, trailers, bathes, clips etc. He is the same after a week or a day off and retains what he is taught. Porter is a beautiful mover with a floaty trot and a massive slow, balanced canter that will eat the lines. His is round from nose to tail over jumps with very tidy knees. He is slow over the top and easy to stay with. Porter has a fantastic work ethic and loves having a job. This gelding is registered with USEF, USHJ, AWA and holds a passport.
