Khoal is 9 years old, stands 14.0h, and has been genetically tested through Etalon Diagnostics. He is homozygous for black, 7 panel negative for all testable genetic diseases, and carries one copy of KRT25 (Curly Gene).
Khoal is a great Sire. He has sired 10 curlys and only 1 straight to date. That is exceptional breeding odds for a heterozygous for curl, curly stallion.
Khoal sires big foals that outsize him. His 2023 American Curly Black Tobiano Colt "Bullet" stands 14.0h as a yearling and is built like a tank!
Khoal is full of character. He is such a fun and loving stallion and talks to you every time he sees you. Khoal cracks us up with his shenanigans. I've captured him sitting in his stall chillin and sitting on his feeder waiting for his dinner.
Khoal travels very well, hauling down the road with his foals, mares, and our gelding. He eats and drinks well, selfloads and offloads day or night, and even at busy truck stops, walking across the parking lot. Khoal enjoys the different sights without any issues.
Khoal loves his summer time bathes and will lower his head to be sprayed off. He knows many tricks, he bows, stretches, and lays down with many more to learn that he will add to his resume of tricks.
Khoal is very easy to clean his genital, no sedation required, he stands like a true gentleman. Khoal is very easy to vaccinate, trim (say "foot" and he lifts them for you), and de-worm. He has the kindest disposition anyone could ever ask for.
Khoal knows voice commnads, hobbles, lunges both directions, walks, trots, lopes, backs, side passes both left and right, opens and closes gates, but please keep in mind I would consider Khoal needing more miles although I have ridden him checking and gathering cattle and in the highcountry mountains. He is a true dream to ride and be around.
