Donita is a 21 year old registered Zweibrücker mare. She has a heart of gold, but is half Thoroughbred so is higher energy than other senior horses. Everyone at the stables loves her.
She has trained up to third level movements and some fourth level, but has been out of regular work since 2018 due to owner's health and schooling so needs to be reconditioned. She would be great for a teen or young adult looking to move into the dressage world, but I would strongly recommend an experienced (intermediate) to advanced rider due to her energy levels.
Donita goes in a simple double-jointed copper snaffle and has been ridden in a side-pull, a bosal, and a halter before with no issues. She knows basic neck reining. Stands for farrier and vet no problem. Washes and trailers, and will be receiving a refresher on loading soon. No soundness issues and minimal stiffness for her age.
